Virtual Zero Trust Cybersecurity

Zero Trust has become a strategic priority for organisations looking to strengthen their security posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

But knowing that you need a "Never Trust, Always Verify" approach is one thing. Making Zero Trust work across legacy systems, fragmented environments, organisational siloes and competing business priorities is another.

Join a select group of cybersecurity and technology leaders for a candid, interactive virtual roundtable exploring the real-world challenges of implementing Zero Trust - and what organizations are doing to overcome them.

Zero Trust Isn't a Product. It's a Tranformation

A successful Zero trust programme requires more than deploying new security tools.

It means continuously validating users, devices and applications, enforcing consistent policies and maintaining visibility across an increasingly distributed technology environment.

For many organizations, the biggest barriers aren't theoretical. They're practical:

  • Legacy systems that lack modern identity protocols or API support
  • Cultural resistance and workflow friction across teams and business units
  • Visibility gaps caused by shadow IT, unmanaged devices and fragmented toolsets
  • Policy drift across increasingly complex environments
  • Skills shortage in identity, cloud security, automation and security analytics
  • Integration complexity across existing security and technology stacks
  • Budget constraints and the challenge of demonstrating ROI to executive stakeholders

This roundtable will move beyond the theory to examine what Zero Trust looks like in practice.

The Conversation:

We'll explore together senior technology and cybersecurity leaders to share experiences, challenges and approaches across the Zero Trust journey.

1. Legacy technology: the elephant in the room -

How do you apply Zero Trust principles when critical systems were never designed for them? We'll explore the challenges of integrating older hardware, proprietary applications and systems without modern identity or API capabilities - and how organizations can modernize without disrupting critical operations.

Discussion question: Do you struggle with legacy systems, and how challenging is it to bring them into compliance with your Zero Trust strategy?

2. People, culture and organizational friction -

Zero Trust can fundamentally change how employees, teams and applications access resources. That can create resistance - particularly when security requirements introduce additional controls or disrupt established workflows.

Discussion question: Are internal friction, business siloes and skills gaps preventing progress towards Zero Trust compliance?

3. Visibility: You can't protect what your can't see -

Fragmented technology estates, shadow IT and unmanaged connected devices can create significant blind spots. We'll explore how organizations are improving visibility across their environments and identifying risks that traditional perimeter-based approaches can miss.

Discussion question: What controls do you have in place to prevent unauthorized communication between environments - including IT-to-OT?

4. Consistency, control and policy drift -

As organizations adopt multiple clouds, applications, devices and identity systems, maintaining consistent security policies becomes increasingly difficult. We'll discuss how teams can establish continuous verification and consistent enforcement without creating an unmanageable operational burden.

5. Skills, resources and investment -

Zero Trust requires the right combination of technology, expertise and organizational commitment. But cybersecurity skills remain in short supply, while security teams are under increasing pressure to demonstrate the value of new investments.

Discussion question: Is budget a barrier to your Zero Trust programme, and how do you make the business case for new technologies and tooling to executive leadership?
